Steve Sapletal, Managing Partner 
As a co-founder and managing partner of On Point Consulting, Steve is responsible for the firm's strategic direction and financial initiatives. In addition to developing and managing new business alliances and partnerships, he is closely involved in initial client engagements and monitors opportunities to evolve On Point's capabilities. Steve is an active and sought-after public speaker, addressing post-merger and acquisition challenges for a variety of executive audiences.
Prior to founding On Point in 1999, Steve spent more than eight years leading successful enterprise-wide initiatives that delivered exceptional business value for Fortune 500 companies. He honed his expertise in program management, organizational change and business process design with GMAC/RFC and Computer Science Corporation.
Steve holds a BA degree in Financial Management & Computer Science from the College of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn.

John Hurley, Partner 
John is a co-founder and partner with On Point Consulting, where he oversees the design, development and delivery of the company's client services. His broad industry expertise in business process integration and his sales, marketing and organizational experience drive successful results for clients.
John has been solving business problems for more than 25 years, having built successful consulting practices for CSC and Arthur Andersen. John has successfully managed numerous M&A integration efforts for bio-technology and pharma organizations.
During his 15-year career with Andersen, he led the firm's Business Systems Consulting (BSC) practice and Computer Risk Management practice in Minneapolis.
John holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a BBA degree from the University of Massachusetts.

Joe Huguelet, Managing Director 
Joe is the Managing Director for On Point Consulting. He is responsible identifying new M&A clients, building partnership and alliances, and working closely with clients to ensure successful transactions.
Joe has executive-level experience at a number of companies; he was a former president of Green Tree Services, Paccar Financial and Progressive Insurance Company. He has a passion for developing and executing strategy that uncovers synergy, elevates best practices, improves operational efficiency and facilitates quick results. He has been an integral leader in the due diligence and integration efforts of nine acquisitions. He has identified and led dozens of business process improvement initiatives and solved business problems over the last 20 years.

Scott Thompson, Director of Finance 
Scott Thompson plays multiple roles for On Point. As Director of Finance, he is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization. Scott is also an active consultant for On Point, utilizing over 20 years of consulting experience in the financial services and retail industries.
Scott combines consulting expertise, financial experience, exceptional leadership qualities, and cross-functional vision to help clients achieve maximum value for their technology investments. He was recognized for strong project leadership and systems expertise while at Computer Sciences Corporation and GMAC/RFC.
Scott holds an MBA with a concentration in Management Information Systems from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, and a BA degree in Business Administration from Valley City State College, North Dakota.

Dan Metzger, Business Council
Dan is an experienced sales and marketing executive with over 25 years in information technology. As president of Nygard Dimensions, a strategic branding and marketing communications firm, he was responsible for business development and operations. Previously as a frontline and operating executive, Dan was responsible for business and market strategy development. Most notably, he was the executive vice president of marketing for Lawson Software, where he directed the rapid expansion of Lawson's market prior to its IPO. Dan has also held executive positions with nQuire Software, Parametric Technology, auxilium and IBM.
Leary Gates, Business Council
Leary is the founder of Lumina Consulting Group, which provides strategic and marketing consulting services to leading information and communications technology companies, including Sun Microsystems, Imation, StorageTek and a variety of emerging technology companies. Prior to founding Lumina in 1995, Leary held a number of technical and management positions with Cray Research. He founded the CraySoft business unit and was responsible for all of its worldwide business unit activities, including development, marketing, sales and administration. He also developed and deployed market entry and exit strategies for other Cray Research product and business segments. Also the founder of SoftwareMinds, the online resource for business operations information tools for the software industry, Leary has authored three editions of Effective Software Marketing Practices, published by Culpepper & Associates and SoftwareMinds.
